Well even though I consider MEK one of my good budies, I'd say the head banging part, if it occured would have probably sounded like a ripe mellon.    Sorry Mike, just couldn't resist, I'm only teasing Mopar bud.

Looks like the fan may have been getting even for having it's pulley and spacer painted maroon? 

Or the car is protesting those floor mats.

Mike that noise was a simple fix. My last noise was a metal pounding caused by spun rod bearing with only 721 miles on my rebuilt engine. I could of just sh!! when this happened comming home from a car show last year. Worst thing is I still don't really know what happened that caused it.

Yep, it cost me $1.56 in new hose. 

So What $1.56? AAANNNNNDDDDD how much did the sprag cost to fix? OMG a whole $1.56 for the hose!!!

Must be the year the Mopars break down.  Glad it was a cheap repair, finally got my car fired up last night from my engine failure, and it sounds mean!

I don't think so, old cars do stuff like that. I have had tons of things just like this happen - just in the first year I had my car.
