Even if he hits 800 HR's the world will say he did it on steroids...and that will never go away!

I'll admit I'm not crazy about the guy, and I have my suspicions just like everybody else. BUT, he hasn't been found guilty yet, so you can't bash the guy. I just wonder about the random drug testing that goes on. Have they mysteriously not tested him as to give the game of baseball a bad name?  :dunno:

Actuly he said he used the cream and the clear (steriods) but said he didn't know what they were. Listen im not just anti Barry I am anti any ball player using, Mcguire, Sosa, anyone in the Nfl. You also have to remeber when Hank did it the pitchers had the adavantage. Now they lowered the mound, ballparks are smaller, etc to help the hitters. By the way I am impressed with the acopmlishment even tainted. All I can say is come on A-rod, we ten more years and he will have close to 800.

 :iagree:

Now Hockey, that's a sport......you've got baseball where players play 160+ games a year...test of endurance (sp?), yes, but anything else, no.  Football?  I'd have more respect for these guys if they played MORE games.....16 games is not enough.  Basketball....enough said, yuck.....but to me, hockey rules.  82 games a year, bashing the crap out of each other in the process and then winning the best trophy in sports, the Stanely Cup..... :woohoo:

It's like comparing apples(Hank) to oranges(Barry).

I think it's more like comparing apples (Hank) to ROAD apples (Bonds). For you city folks that don't know what a road apple is.....well....it's a horse turd!! :poopoke: Not too many athletes play the sport for the love of it any more. Look at the salaries paid to the top athletes in the 50's and 60's. Now those guys were a different breed!! Just my  :2cents:

On a side note about the guy who caught the ball, he said that now he may not sell it. It's estimated value should be well over $500,000.

He must have money already. He was on his way to Austrailia. I hear he is only 22 yrs. old?
