'71 'Cuda Spotted In Town
« on: August 08, 2007 - 07:50:43 PM »
I was on my way back through town earlier tonight with my mother and saw a very sweet '71 'Cuda in what looked to be Curious Yellow.  It's not everyday you see a nice 'Cuda in town, a '71 to boot!  I wish he would have gone to the last local show I was at, but no luck. :'(  Oh, and sorry for no photos but I didn't really expect to see a 'Cuda out tonight, but one was on the prowl and looked great doing it. :grinyes:

Thats why you need to get a camera phone. You never know when something is going to come your way you wished you could take a pic of.

Haha, well I do have a camera phone...However, it's gone to the camera phone heaven in the sky, so to speak. :angelwings:  I'm trying to decide if I want to take another gamble with another phone from Wal-Mart as my crappy Verizon phone went through hell and back in two years until I got sick of over-paying for minutes I didn't even use! :villagers:

Cool!! Next time you see him, you'll have to flag him down & take some pics!! Maybe you can get his attention if you wave a Hemi out the window!!

I was off his radar as I was in a Camry, but I did try to get his attention to give him a compliment on the car.

Jim, I actually did have an Alltel phone, but I bought it through Wal-Mart as it was a Pay As You Go kind of deal.  I don't use a cell phone often enough to use anymore plans, especially after I kept on getting screwed by Verizon with my previous phone/contract.  500 minutes per month, I'd use something like 100 max and they'd charge me more even though I was within my calling area.  They even tried to consider it roaming in downtown Chi-town a couple years back as "all the towers in the area were busy", so I was redirected to a tower outside the city & charged roaming charges!!! :villagers:  Let's just say that wasn't a good conversation for them!

Just remember that those prepaid minutes can expire even if you don't use them.  (i.e. if you have X number of minutes when you activate your phone and they aren't used within a set time they will be viod.) Just got to read the fine print so you don't get screwed.

If he's a local, chances are he'll show again in the same location around the same time. But of course, that can be hit or miss when he does.
