Neil,

We will all miss you if you leave for Panama. I had a lot of fun hanging out wth you during Carlisle. It wouldn't be the same without you there. But you gotta do what ya gotta do. I wish you the best my friend on whatever direction you decide on.

CP just crash the gate....obviously no one is watching.

:iagree:  For real!  It seems that the only people getting in at in any decent time frame are the ones sneaking in illegally.

Hope all works out for you, Chryco.  It's a big move and lots of unknown terratory.  Take care!

I have to disagree , they are watching more than they ever have , all the demonstrations have heightened the issue as well as 911 , it has never been this hard
Most illegals do not have cell phnoes & computers logged intot the internet every day & do not have a truck to register & insure somewhere , I am not interested in giving that much to live in the US , I would lose touch with all of you

Doesn't somebody here have a sister that can marry him to legalize him???  (seriously)
A freind of mine married a chick while he was living in New Orleans to 'citizenize' her, and annulled the marriage
2 weeks later.

Good luck Chryco... Hope you get into the states!!!

Hi CP.  Canada is still a great country and there is lots of reasons to stay IMHO ie health care, low crime.  Have you thought about southern BC, Vancouver Island, etc.? Some of these areas are a bargain compared to Edmonton and Calgary.  Job wise, BC isn't the strongest but there may be opportunities for the mechanical types.  I was talking to a guy who owns a power train shop in Edmonton here.   He is paying his guys $30ish/hour.  Everyone is screaming for talented people with the labour shortages.  It doesn't solve your dislike of our winters though.

ps my brother-in-law's brother bought property in Costa Rica (not in the tourist area).  You can live there for $600/mo I'm told. Probably no Mopars!

If you don't mind an older lady there are lots of widows looking for companionship :smilielol:  Women do live longer then men but perhaps a little desperate though!

Can't do that one any longer.  INS requires that couples remain married for some length of time and they send an agent to interview the couple to verify that they actually know some details about each other, sleep together, etc.
