words cannot comepletly describe how much I hate the front end on that car.  From a studio that came up with the Superbird and the 1971 Challenger grille what the heck were they thinking  ???

I agree, I hate the front end myself. I would have to say that if they ditched the CudaVega and went with this model they would have been ahead of the game for 1975.

This is one sharp looking cuda.

Maybe that front end inspired the '85 'Cuda and Plymouth Turismo?  :dunno:

Here is another pic of what could have been the new cuda for 75. Rear design layout. I kinda like it.

I like the look of 'Cuda rear, it looks progressive, really it is way ahead of its time if you look close, integrated bumper and all, it could pass for a current car imo.

Here is the 1975 Challenger

Jim, this is the only pic in these threads I've never seen. Can you tell me where it came from?

Last months Popular Hot Rodding had a few page article talking about the Fish that got away.

Here is another pic of the 70's-ish converted cuda prototype for the 75 cuda.

Sorry I wasn't clear, Jim. I was specifically referring to the Challenger prototype.  I've seen the Cuda stuff in several places, but I've never seen that Challenger pic before.

Cool pictures, thanks for posting them. I never new about those. My mom worked for Chrysler headquarters during those years and all the way back to the 60's. She usually told me about the muscle car line up for the new year, but not those. I still have some of the "Adult Toys From Dodge" t-shirts and a bumblebee sticker with slicks that she would bring home.
