« on: August 11, 2007 - 11:17:17 AM »
I am currently looking for a new radiator for a 1970 440 Dodge Challenger . I belive it to be a 22 inch . One question is in one catollog it said for a 440 I need a 3 or 4 row radiator yet the girl at Paddocks says they have a 2 row that is for my car . Which is it ?

Next dose anyone know the best place to buy one at the best price ? I do not want garbage but am watching cost this car is starting to add up . It 's worth it but I have to watch cost .

I was hoping for one that looked close to stock as possible .So far the best deal I found is Paddocks at $400.00 . Thanks . :worshippy

You sure you don't need a 26" radiator? If the car was an original small block and had a 22" radiator support, I would obviously get the biggest core radiator you can find, but don't pay Paddock's price.  We got good ones from an auto parts store and a radiator shop for much less.

The car came with a 383 from the factory . The open part in the radiator surrport is 22 inches . Not knowing for sure I would guess that . that is the only part where the air would get through . I will look into some of the local auto parts stores as well as radiator shops . Thanks . I'm still not sure what size to get how ever .
