The previous owner told me its a nice car, but hes no body guy or mechanic obviously since hes paying me to do some of his cars.  He sold it to help out with the challenger resto and because he was moving to thin the herd.  The guy has superbirds and such and has a hemi cuda vert being done... so it was the odd ball out.  He wanted the challenger, well chose it over the cuda because its an ac car and 1 of 1 because of a special order stripe.  The new owner did put on a cap and some other work... there was a thread on moparts with pics.  I'm sure its worth 30k, but I could have got it for alot less... wich I knew it at the time because I'd be driving it now and still broke :roflsmiley:

I'm in Pleasanton, but this car is actually in Benicia.  If I ever go through Benicia I will pull off the freeway and inspect it.  Looks reasonable for the price though.

The car isn't at the consignment place anymore unfortunately, that would have been perfect if it was though. I'm not sure where the owner lives but I'm guessing pretty close

Like others said, this car has issues. There's bubbling all over it. A disaster waiting to happen.

Pity, though. Needs to be redone.

It's Specialty Sales.  They have another one on 1st St right off of Main St in Pleasanton.  I was out last night cruising the Cuda downtown.  Was a good time, and I'll see what the scene is tonight as well.  :cooldancing:

I'd never buy another car sight unseen...unless I know the car or its from an honest board member.  Thats why I was looking for someone to check it out for me.    Finding a GOOD car in the $30-$35K range is a lot harder then I expected....I see a lot in that price range, but everyone I look into has issues.  All I want is a 70-71 Ebody, 4spd in a desirable color with black interior..lol.  Thats not asking for much..

Well, I'm flying to Frezno ca tomorrow. I will be there for 2 weeks, I just left Denton and am in Dallas for the night. I will keep  looking for you. My wife will get angery if I sell you mine, not because of the money, but because I always end up selling a car to tinker with another. I like to tinker and she doesnt understand that. I started 2 times to tell ya fly down  1bad and take a peek at it. It's gotta be the type your looking for. Purple-4spd-black interior. Runs, but might be a gas hog with 3 carbs on it.  It hasn't ever seen an inch of rain its entire life. Bring a magnet. I thought it was wierd cause the floor pans are factory under coated but the fram rails are just clean metal.  I did pay 14k for the shell and the extra pieces that came with it. But worth it for clean rust free metal.
