    That's also a possibility... i'd whack that tube long before I shimed the box...lol. That box mount flexes all over as it is.

    I think I would just cut a little concave relief and call it good. Someone recently did this sort of thing for clearance with his subframe connectors and T/A Style Exhaust tips... turned out good. I dont think it would affect performance...
