Heading To GA This Friday/Sat.
« on: August 13, 2007 - 02:07:22 PM »
Well, I have it all setup to go check out (and hopefully drive back) the Stealth R/T TT I've been looking into getting.  It's also a cool feeling that this week is my final week of my summer job and that can only mean college is coming up again for another year. :woohoo: (haha, I actually like going to school.) :screwy:   Anyways, it's a good excuse to take a little trip (haven't been on one in a LONG time) and it'll be even more fun driving the Stealth back. (Provided I don't have any issues with it along the way...)

I'll probably have my laptop with.  You never know if some business has a wireless connection I can jump on while waiting for gas or something along the way.

Thanks.  It sounds and looks like a good car, so only time can tell if it is true.  All I know is insurance isn't bad for a TT ($30 more than my Corolla with a whopping 100hp, whereas this is 300+hp but also heavy).  After I start making some more money, I want to switch it from just liability to full-coverage, but I sure hope nothing happens to it while I'm just liability.

Jim, yes my dad's going with me.  I'm still working on Friday (need more $$ as always) and get up at 5:00, so it'll be nice to have him to drive at least the first half of the drive down there.  As for some photos, here are two good ones of it.  I like that the seller's been very up front with every known issue he's experienced as I just read on the 3SI site one of the WI members bought an R/T TT on eBay that needed a bunch more work than what it should have. (Now up for sale 'cause of the problems.)

Oh, and it'll be so much better driving around a car that fits me better than a four door, white Corolla with a lot of rust. :grinyes: :burnout:

Dude, you are going to love driving it. I had the same car, but a 3000 GT VR4, same thing but the plastic, as u know. Very expensive parts. The first time you do a 4 grand drop, and it just shoots off like a rocket, you'll be in love. I got rid of mine to quit getting tickets, and high maitence cost. If you can, keep the Corolla just in case. Good luck, nice car :2thumbs:
