I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I could not find it while searching...
I am building a street 440 for the Challenger, and I am looking at 3 intake manifolds:
- Edelbrock Performer
- Edelbrock Performer RPM
- Mopar P4529118 (replacement for the Eddy CH4B - Looks like the stock manifold). Picture attached below...
I am curious to know your feedback about these manifolds. I am leaning toward the RPM, if it will fit under the Challenger's power bulge ('twin scoop', 'rallye') hood. I like the look of that Mopar manifold, but I don't know anyone who has used it! The car will be a street cruiser, with a 3.23 Sure-Grip rear and a 2400 stall.
I am also up in the air about carb selection, but I know that's another can of worms, since I'm not a Holley fan...
Thanks in advance for your input!
