It is what it is. I just don't understand why people feel the need to label things.
"Tribute" car just sounds kinda faggy to me, are you going to paint Elvis on it and drive it in parades wearing a funny little hat?
"Recreation" is something guys who haven't gotten over the Civil War do.
"Clone" implies something that is an exact duplicate of something else, which it can't be, because it isn't real O-U-8-1-2 code car.
What are we going to call the new '71 Cuda bodies that are coming soon from China? Are we going to need a special term for those, too?
How about just calling it a Cuda (or Challenger)?
The filthy unwashed masses will think it's a real Hemi Cuda, and most Mopar VIN number crunchers who aren't complete asshats will still think its cool. The asshats that rag on you because it isn't real are probably measuring their wang by the VIN numbers. Those guys suck, don't get laid, and won't get it anyways, so why worry? Let them enjoy their trailer queen garage dust magnet while we're out driving our cars as intended.
Call it whatever you want, as long as you get maximum enjoyment out of owning/driving it.
