It should be pretty clear from my forum name that I am not particularly interested in making a fake fender tag or trying to fool anybody into thinking my car is numbers matching anything. I was just kind of interested.
I also appreciate the viewpoint of the numbers matching crowd. My midyear Corvette has numbers matching original everything down to NOS date coded tower clamps on the heater hoses, so I also understand why someone may not want to give out info that would help "fake a pedigree".
