I agree, but I bet most people would not have thought it would turn out that good, I know I didn't.

Due to a tranny swap and preparing for a camping trip I didn`t get any good shots of the `69 and decided not to enter the `72 this year with a different pic to give others a chance.I haven`t voted yet but I do agree a lot of the shots are not the best as there are a lot of cluttered backgrounds, bad light and angles. Not trying to be negative just pointing it out as all the cars of course are awesome!

I think everyone that submitted did an excellent job.  When trying to photogrpah your pride and joy, you just see it different through the lense than anyone else.  When I took my photo I had lots of things going through my head:

1. Keep the sun at my back (as best I could)
2. Make sure things aren't "growing" out of the car
3. Keep the background clean
4. Make sure it was washed
5. The windows, rolled up or down?
6. Try different angles, low, high

and the one thing I forgot to do was turn the wheel  :banghead:

So much thought but as an amateur I can't get it all right.  I did have fun though.  :2thumbs:

One pic I liked but didn't submit because of the fence:

If the fence wasn't there and the Airborne Express jet was either moved or a different angle could have been obtained it would make a nice pic.

Good job to all, let's see some that you considered but didn't submit.

Is there a rule that the owner has to take his or her own pic? That would mean someone else driving my car for an action shot... :22yikes:

Congrats to all who entered!  As the others have already said, the cars look great!  :2thumbs:

I do like the ones that are a little different...71bigblock's rain shot and Lunchbox's "Challenger in storage" shot.

I think though, despite all the great pics, I liked Barry's Challenger T/A in pieces the most as it was unique.  ;D

I was debateing between 2 pictures as which one to use. I was kinda thinking that the one I submitted was a little overpowering with the background like Moparal commented. This was a good learning experiance and I have been out trying different areas for better pictures. I went to nz site and got a few tips--I like the suggestion of someone putting together a  quide on better pic taking. It takes a lot of practice for a really great shot.
