    The 4 spd keeps the feeling alive. I can't wait to get it painted.  I bought 1.5 gallons of bc/cc for it, just having to wait my turn. Then the chrome and my plates.

    There's not really any body work done to the car. It was walnut blasted down to the metal. The hull had a light coat sprayed on it in 1980, the doors were painted useing the same can of paint in 2007, then I bought some paint and had the guy spray the fenders and pans so it wouldnt look so bad. In other words, it needs a paint job. Thats why there is no trim on it yet. It set in a garage with no paint on it at all for 27 yrs while it was in the desert.

    Well that explains everything! lol
    I have heard that if the doors are painted while off the car the color usually won't match under certain lights as well, just the way the paint lays down.

    Thanks street, I am wishing right now I had some more time to play with it. I thought I'd be going home after this Dallas job of 6 16 hr days, and just opened my email saying I have to fly into Bakersfield ca. for 2 weeks on monday doing 14 more 16's. :banghead:

    This is suposed to be my vacation too. I'm trying to get it together in timing so I can drive up and pick up the 340 cuda 4 spd stuff I bought, and meet tropicalcats. He went and picked it up for me and has it put away in his garge.

    Seems like everything in the USA is broken 7/24.   But I am training some one now.
