Found this car is town, owner won't sell period, says its his first car that he bought on his own and will have it until he dies or it rots away, but it will stay with him.  :screwy:  It does have a 440/4spd in the car aswell.

I have a feeling that's been sitting a few years. It looks like even the headlights are growing moss.  :P

Yeah, it hasn't moved for quite some time, snuck over there last night and looked under it, floor boards are in decent shape and it has a 440. Too bad.

Do you usually just drive around looking, or were these just along your common travels?
I love taking long rides into the middle of nowhere looking for Mopars.
Thanks for sharing your finds either way

I don't drive around looking, this one happened to be by my dads house and I came in from a new way and saw this sitting there.  THe duster I found in a guys backyard when dad and I went over to pickup a 63 bevedere.  Gas is too expensive to go around hunting for old mopars when I really ain't got the time for another project.

I've done business with folks like that. The way to deal with them is show them the cash, and offer to do all the paperwork and assume all the responsibility. When all they have to do is pocket the cash and sign, their resistance usually fades.

I got lucky.  When I found my 'Cuda - sittin' on the side of the road for over a year - the guy was already looking to sell it.  I was able to use his need to sell it to get a better price, even.

Now I'M going to keep it 'till I die.  :)

nope dad goes over there everyother week with more and more cash, i think its up to 3500 cash right now, still wont budge, car doesnt even run.  i honestly think hes waiting to see how dads, 62 signet turns out before he'll sell it, sounds like he wants it restored to orginal condition and i think that onces dads car is done, he'll come off of the fury.
