I've been tuning it in and out. I love it cause these kids play with heart and for the love of the sport. Not for the money or Niki shoes!! I watched one kid at 6 foot one, only 12 years old and throwing over 90 MPH. :22yikes: I couldn't believe my eyes. Another Randy Johnson or Nolan Ryan???

Great Game.

:iagree:   Win or lose, it was a great game---The World Championship Game in extra innings.  It doesn't get any better than that.   Also. Georgia was the underdog in the last 4 games they played and won em all.  That's why they play the games.  Georgia got hot at the right time......    :2thumbs:    :cooldancing:

How many teams entered? :dunno: Just curious.
I know the men's league is a "world series" but played between American & Canadian teams.  :screwy:

They qualify through various U.S. and international regional qualifier tournaments.  It is a long process that takes many weeks to get through.  In the end, only 16 teams make it to the World Series Tournament.  8 U.S. teams and 8 International teams.  There is a pool play beginning to get the field down to the final 8 teams. Then it is single elimination from that point forward.  Win or go home.  Georgia kids have won it the last 2 years........
