Fuel tank carb cleaners
« on: August 20, 2007 - 03:13:41 PM »
Just wondering if anyone uses or used fuel tank additive that's suppose to clean the carb. Does it help, hurt or make no difference? I use fuel injector cleaner in my daily driver but haven't tried anything in the Cuda. I'm not having any issues, just curious about everyones opinion on this.

Has anyone heard that the carb cleaner you put in the carb dries out rubber?  Like the o-rings and accelerator pump?   :clueless:

Once in a while, I might throw it in my daily driver like you do, just for the sake of the fuel injectors. I don't put anything in my Challenger, other than 93 octane, and a touch of octane booster with lead in it(thanks Old's Cool).
