anyone shave bumperette cutouts on valnce?

saw it done on a cuda and was wondering if any of you have done this...thought it looked pretty cool!

Yep!!

(looks like Do Do IMO)

That Yellow canadian car kept the cutouts and filled them up with reverse lights but that didn't look bad.

Kind of a Chebbie thing to me.  Plus, you need all the room behind the rear shackles you can get. Those shackles move back and forth sometimes especially if you make some laps in it some day.  You wouldn't want the back of the springs rubbing on the valance  :dunno:

Plenty of room for the shackles. I don't think you can buy the bumperetts anymore. I couldnt find them when I did the body about 1 1/2 year ago. So I just welded them up.

Yes, several times. Real easy. Just fit a patch in the hole and weld it up. Smoothed it doesnt look too bad.

I believe Barracudas need the clearance bulge for the shackles. Challengers, since they are longer, do not need it.
