Battery hold down
« on: December 30, 2003 - 09:59:54 AM »
Can anyone post a pic of the correct battery hold down for a 70 Cuda, I need to get the correct hold down but not sure how wide the hold down is. The one I have is small like 6", I think the stock battey is about 7-8" wide.

Thanks & regards

Bart

Sorry Bart.  I'm quite surprised no one has answered you on this either.  I've got a Challenger that is taken apart right now so I can't help you, but someone on this board SHOULD be able to snap a pic for you....

Come on guys....

Have you tried eBay - entering "NOS Battery"?  ???

Wouldn't it be exactly the same as a Challenger's one?

I bet that new battery looks great in there with your stock correct hold down. It looks like you even have the correct nuts with captive washers as well, hard to see from pic though.
