Galen Govier looked at the body before, during and after the rebuilding of the car. :money:

Thought this was a pretty interesting comment to.   I am sure seller is in a bad spot with the "rumors", but how can posting that before picture help his arguement it wasn't rebodied?   All drama aside, it is a beautiful car !!

A guy that lives around here showed me a pic of a 70 cuda he "used" to have that he wrecked in the early 80's.  He hit a telephone pole sideways and it litleraly ripped the car in half.  Worst wreck I have seen till now! The newspaper clipping showed the back half on the road still, and the front half was in the ditch.  everyone walked away believe it or not.  He had a white 340 cuda I tried to get him to sell me at the time I talked to him.  Years later (present time) searching for the car, I found out he sold it to someone and its a car thats been right down the road from me all this time and never knew it!

Since some of the original shell was saved and used technically it is not a re-body but there is a vast grey area as to how much of a car you can replace without it being one.  :dunno:

Kinda what I was thinking.  Can it be done?  Sure it can.  Its an iffy situation, but I dont have to worry about it.  The owner is the one who has to sleep at night.

Whats a $50K Authenticity fee to Galen when you're talking about a $395K car.....      :dunno:  You just have to know who to pay off...lol.

Just what I was thinking. What makes Gumbers Nuru so all knowing? Why does everyone take his word as gospel? If he puts his stamp of approval on a dog turd does that make it a hemicuda?  :poopoke:

I would have to call this a re-body as well, but as already cited how much of the car has to be saved to consider it the same car. Its as difficult of a debate as found in the abortion controversy (although far less important) when does life begin. Although, I think that the owner and Galen are probably the only ones on the one side of the debate.
