Get the AMD.  $$$, but worth it.  Goodmark one is junk.

I got the AMD trunk lid for my car. Worth the money for sure. I got lucky and bought one off ebay that was damaged in shipping and got it for half price. Only took about 15 minutes of hammer and dolly work to fix the damage.

Well, ihavent decided what i will do yet for my deck lid. I will probably get a new lid this winter, when i can save up enough change to get a good one. Probably buy my new hood at the same time, so i only have to cry once. :faint:

Here is what i am working on right now. I used an entire gallon of stripper to get these doors stripped down, and then i hit them with my orbital sander to finish. I found 3 different colors and 2 different primers as well as some thinnly spread bondo. I scraped so darn much that my hand, i think is permanently damaged.
i will finish working on the rest of the door this next week and then try and get everything into epoxy primer next weekend.

Doors are now in epoxy primer, and hung on the car.
I can't believe they are really on the car now :woohoo:
Once i get the front fenders stripped  and in epoxy, i will hang them on the car and start working body lines and filler.
It is actually starting to look like a car again. :droolingbounce:

Well, i should probably update. I just started to work on the car again. i now have heat in my garage, so that eliminates an excuse for being too cold. I have the body (minus doors and front fenders) in high build primer now. Idid a litle bit of filler work where i needed to and just need to finish it and then i will start sanding and getting everything straight and smooth. I decided to pull the doors back off, so i could paint the jambs and under the hinges. I am also painting the part of the door that the hinges cover as well. Once i get these painted i will get them mounted back on the car and do the same with the front fenders and hood. I want to paint under those areas si that i dont have to pull them back off. i also want the doors and fenders on while i am priming and filling, so everything will be smooth, etc.

Yes i have decided on a color :woohoo: My kids just say wow. they think it is really bright :bigshades:
I decided that i didnt like the black Raptor lining in the trunk, so i roughed it up and purchased another kit of the Tintable liner and went for it. I also shot it on the inside floor, hoping it will help with sound deadening as well.

:bigshades:Yes it did turn out a bit bright  Not sure why. I hope the regular paint isnt that bright. I had my local paint store mix up the paint. They sell these Raptor liner kits all the time.
