:lol2: It's all good!  :drunk: Thanks for the kind words.

OK, just got an email update from Tim, here is his email word-for-word plus a couple of photos.  :woo:
I said I hope it's not going to be a 650hp+ engine and his reply was:

We knew going in that this package is very capable of 700hp, so we took de-tuning steps from the outset. We are using progressive throttle bodies that are adjustable. I can pretty well change the top end V.E. of your engine with the turn of a few screws. This thing can be perked up at any time though. We have already done some dyno pulls, and we are running 617hp with a fairly conservative tune.

I am more concerned about getting all the part throttle and cruise conditions covered anyway, as that's were the engine will be most of the time. I have sent a couple of pics. You can see we really hang a lot of monitors and controls on our EFI engines. I will probably start it every day to test from cold, and input the final values. We then have to pull it off, do an oil pan inspection, (shipping requires no oil allowed in the pan) and the final detail & paint. I will then install your 70/71 vintage rocker covers for the final touch. Getting close, Tim @FHO

NZ, what kind of oil pump are you using?  Reason I asked, was because I tried to mount my motor to a stock hemi k-frame and it just wouldn't work without using motor plate.  My motor uses a dual line instead of the single line.   The single line may work.

Not sure Hemidog, you can run through the list of parts from the engine build on page 2.

I didn't see one listed.  If that is your motor in the picture on this page, or is like this one, looks like it might have the single line.  :dunno:

Surely that is not the pan. The pan in the dyno pictures looks more correct. I see no way that drag pan is going to clear the drag link. Maybe with a rack and pinion conversion, but even then I think not. Sounds like you are going to keep the HP under control by limiting the secondary opening on the throttle body. Basically the motor will only be allowed to go 3/4 throttle. I don't think I have the self control to leave it that way. Very nice motor setup. I'm jealous as well.

Thanks guys, I have passed on this info to Tim, but again, if anyone knows Hemis, Tim does. It's like telling God how to make homosapiens, just doesn't happen lol. I know it will be 100% throttle, have talked to Tim about that. What he is referring to is when the initial gas pedal is pressed at WOT not all the power will come in, it gives the driver, tires and car that split second to fully get traction and get the majority of the hp to the ground. Rather than, say a carb car where it all piles in at once.

Getting power to the ground is what performance is all about. This is a 100% street engine, driven daily. It will never see the track. As for single or double line, not even sure what you're referring to, to be honest lol. All photos in this thread are of my engine except for the one with a close up on the EFI on page 1 (I think). But again, Tim will make sure all parts are compatible and will work for my setup. Thanks for the kind words.

That...looks like art. FHO does killer work. :droolingbounce:  I dont think I would want to use that pan tho. The one on the engine shown on the dyno. Unless you have VERY flat roads. But, he may have that as a dyno pan too. He said it has to come off anyway. The single line external pickup should clear the K frame if the line is routed properly. It may not fit entering from the back.. I'm not positive on that. Tim should take your "God" quote and frame it on the wall...lol.

:lol2: Maybe I should email him that quote....lol j/k

Hey Moper, thanks. :2thumbs: It's not the one in the dyno, it's that 10 quart flat looking one.  ;) I have sent Tim an email to confirm this, the fit and dipstick stuff so will see what he says. He is definitely well respected.

He is Tim's reply to my questions, I said some people had posted about the oil pan etc and that it may not fit, just asking him for confirmation that it would. I have taken several things from forums and asked him about it.

Hi Carl, no worries. Pan fits k-frame, you will have a dipstick. Sure sounds
like some people are just waiting to rain on your parade. I will be sitting your
engine in the k frame before we ship. I will send some pictures after it is painted.
I still have some driveability tuning to do, but should have it off the dyno by
Tuesday or Wednesday. Tim @FHO

Well, that engine will be awesome for sure! Surely even though the engine builder does not know I am glad you know that all the concerns were just that, concerns from fellow mopar buddies. I did not see anything so far that would lead me to believe that anyone wants to rain on your parade, hell, I want to attend your parade  :burnout:  :2thumbs:

Yup, I had the figure 625hp in my mind so it's definitely in the right area and is great news.
Be good to see the final ratings, especially the torque figures.
