Funny, I'm in sort of a similar situation. Not much progress waiting for some gilled fenders before we can paint and move forward. As soon as I see some assembly and paint, I will get all amped again.
That car is going to be awesome Carl.
Thanks Will.
I've decided to put Dad's car into the paint/body shop first. He's "getting on" (in the nicest way) and I'd really like him to get to enjoy this car so I told the resto shop instead of mine going in we'll get Dad's in for body work and paint then mine will go in straight after. So, mine won't start until around July/August next year at the earliest.
Sucks for sure but I feel good for Dad, plus, I get to save money to do the resto. Dad was over the moon when I told him.
His 'Cuda will go in Feb next year. Luckily Lucy & my new "secret" toy will keep me occupied.
Harms - Thanks Scott! Tim is indeed one of the best in the business. Walks on water as far as I've experience and heard. He even walks on water at Moparts, that in itself is quiet an achievement. As you can see from the build my car isn't 100% correct which is why I choose a "non correct" hood for this 'Cuda. Although Tim will do his best to make it appear factory, it will still have items which are "not correct" so if people spot the engine and it's modern mods they may also spot the hoods non correct points as well (if any?, has anyone come to this conclusion yet?) so you can see why correctness wasn't a major for me, just quality/fit. That's all I was trying to say.
Cheers,
Carl
