Thanks Greenfish, I think I found out a while ago me and you have very similar tastes. :grinyes: The engine is basically how I like my cars to, stock appearing with none-to-mild modern upgrades. In this case though it's quite a major upgrade, but, still "stealth" or hidden as best as possible. As I've said before my preference for my cars is to have people walk up to it in person, go over the exterior and interior and then notice (or not) the little upgrades or non-factory items. Takes a little extra money and craftsmanship to do but the end result is well worth it.

Here's a real crap video of the engine on the dyno LOL Tim said he was sorry but his camera is/was dying.
He said he'd get a better video done soon. This is more for sound, sounds very responsive. :naughty:

I just noticed the pulleys, I like the look and the function is worlds better than stock I bet.

Hey Carl, with torque straps on both sides of the engine is the shaker hood going to shake?  :clueless:

Where are the torque straps on the engine? lol Honestly, I don't know what they are? The whole engine shakes which in term shakes the Shaker as far as I'm aware, that's the same with all shaker cars, Mopar or not.

My bad, I think I was looking at the 2 dealybobs on the front of the engine. On second glance they look to be some part of the pulley bracket system or something? My mistake there, they look just like the better made torque isolators some big hp engines use. Me I am used to seeing a short length of chain used as a torque strap lol.

:lol2: Oh, OK! I wasn't sure and was curious myself. Only thing I can see which I will look at is removing the decal" of the blaster coil thing lol. Not sure if it's on there or just a decal. I'd prefer to have it all black, stands out less.

I'll post up a nice video on the dyno when the engine arrives. :thumbsup:

Madeline's beast heart arrived today. Paid customs and taxes yesterday and she's safely in the garage. Man, I'm over the bloody moon and that's putting it mildly lol absolutely f#%ken awesome.

I had some guys from the shop come help me and just as well, it was heavy and awkward. Two crates, one for the engine and shaker set up the other with exhaust and other misc engine related parts. Had to walk it 50 metres up the drive, not fun. Anyhow, we got it down safely and I popped the crate lids off and just perved for a good 15 minutes lol, no joke.

The 'Cuda should star it's build sooner than expected, much sooner. Hopefully within 5-6 weeks we'll get the engine, stiffening kit, trans, diff and suspension steel parts all lined up, then strip the car, acid dip, body work and her new black paint job. From there it's going to be very fast and down hill. Everything is new and ready to go.

Exciting times indeed for a young Mopar lover like myself.
I'll try to get the DVD dyno on here later on.

DYNO RESULTS

Engine HP = 660.0hp (492.1kw) @ 5,700rpm
Engine Torque = 632.7lb-ft @ 4,700rpm

Est Rear Wheel HP = 561rwhp
Est Rear Wheel KW = 420rwkw
Est Rear Wheel Torque = 537.8rwT

Looking into that crate and seeing that Hemi HAD to feel awesome....good luck with the build and be sure to post pics.. :wow:
