That is the most thing I like about HEMI's othe than being a HEMI you can make a hemi look so much like stock its sickning....

That is a real good point Stroker. I've never really thought about that. I know you can make a 440 stock though with BIG hp, just take the Year One F.A.S.T class for instance. But a big % of the cars have big filters, heads, chrome, MSD ignitions and boxes etc so ti's not as easy for them, I guess? :dunno:

not to mention with high lift cams / rockers you need taller valve covers... unless you do the double gasket trick.... but mostly the intake is a dead giveaway even if you paint it like the block.....

just curious if they gave you the head flow numbers and cam specs... I wanna punch them into my camquest program to see if it matches real close to the engine dyno like mopar muscle test did was in within 4 hp on the camquest program compared to the actual engine dyno ???

Im real curious how close it is to yours.....  :2thumbs:

Hi Carl. Awesome motor, real TORQUE monster.  :worshippy I have stopped progress with my 472 iron elephant and probably will sell it soon, I mean just a short block. I have been too many times here to watching pics and specs of your beast, so I contacted Tim...

You'll be glad you made the call, his workshop and work are immaculate, best of the best. ;) For anyone interested, I just update my www.carlwalski.com/Madeline3.html with 5 pages of photos from start to finish of the build. All photos were taken by Tim, they do that for each build for the customer along with other stuff like dyno videos etc.

Hey Carl, :blah:

Next time you are chin wagging with the boys at FHO ask them to e-mail or fax the cam card details on to you please.  I would be interested to know the grind they put in your 540 Hells Bells Hemi. :ylsuper:

Thanks guys, its not the biggest Hemi out there nor the most powerful but I can't wait for the day I can crank it over and here it sing! TC - No coolant coming out. We de-fogged it as per Tim Bannings instructions around 18 months ago and crank it over every month to keep it fresh. Hopefully before the end of the year we'll have it running.
