Really?  So are you going to clone it now?   :poopoke:

:lol2: Ohhhh, you're cruising for a bruising.

Seriously though, this can has never crossed my mind as being a clone. Can't be. Clones are exact replicas and of course Ma Mopar never made any E-Bodies with 540ci Hemis & 5-Speeds. It's a stock build custom car is about as best as I can describe it. Built to look stock but built to run hard. A wolf in sheeps clothing.

congrats carl, thats awesome.i really love the current colour combo (must be getting old)but nothing looks more sinister than a black cuda.
and with the big hemi in it,too much hard accelleration in an easterly direction and the land of the long white cloud is going to bump into the land of the long weekend. :smilielol:
hmmm, dont think i like wheel arch and sill moulds on black cars.

LOL! I'm a smart Kiwi mate, if I drag anything, it'll be away from you guys!  :smilielol: :stirpot:

Thanks though mate, appreciate the words. Don't worry, nothing escapes my mind and I've been pondering whether or not I put the sill moldings on. The wheel lips are a must in my opinion but I'm not 100% sure about the sills. I even did a "test" photo a month or so back, what do you think? It is a bit in your face but then again it also defines the rake & body height well.......hard decision.

Hey Neil,

I am very happy for you. She is finally in your hands, and what good hands they are.
I for one, say build it the way you want it.  You are the only one you have to please.

As for sill molding, my vote is without them.  I think it makes for a “meaner” look.  :2thumbs:

Congrats to the car NZ. :2thumbs:, She`s looking great already.
Bet you`re anxious to get started.
When do you calculate to have her ready for the streets.

With or without the sill moulding looks good to me....but you definately need a set of those rear window louvers.  I always liked them on E bodies.   :woohoo:

i think the rocker moulds give the car some length.which i think it needs with all the other mouldings making the car look short.either way it would still look mean as he!! coming down the street.but then if i saw that danish? black cuda driving down the street i think i would faint. that car makes me want to sell my challenger and get a cuda and paint it black ect ect.
anyway, half your luck mate.looking forward to all the pics especially after they get the paint off

its funny how some people name their cars and the reasons behind it.my car is just called "the dodge".pretty boring really but i never came across a name that seemed to suit my car.maybe i should start a name my car thread.lucy seems to fit your R/T perfectly and madeline-ha.when i think of a triple black big hemi 71 cuda called madeline i think of a whip wielding dominatrix.
..........Carl,you are your cars b!tch....... :roflsmiley:

I think the word clone should be one of the new bad words to say...clone...what the heck...its a 71 cuda with a hemi...NZ pack away the fender tag and get a custom one made....something cocky and to the point for fender tag readers????

I definately prefer the rocker moldings, but then again, I pretty much like them on anything they were available from the factory with.   The black is accented alot by all the thin chrome lines of a black 71.

Looks great man! I'm off this weekend to meet the M&M guys and work out a deal on that 71 shell for my build.

I can post pictures of my shell when I return, but I'm sure they won't be as exciting as these!

Have fun with it Carl.
