FM3, it will be me, you, and NZ. Your car reminds me a lot of my old 71 TX9 Cuda with the road wheels. I had it from 74 until 1980. They look great in black.

We'll have to get one of those outfits each and take a picture with our cars  :cooldancing:

The shop was having a hard time getting the hood to close with the 4 bbl shaker base plate. I talked with Scott from Harms and he gave me a couple of good ideas. I decided on getting a recessed 14" air cleaner and cutting the shaker base to the diameter of the air cleaner base. Since the standard 440 4-bbl engine is much lower than the Hemi M-1 intake, the standard base was 3" too high.

Here is what I accomplished in a couple hours. I have the bubble on the car and here's some shots of the rough progress so far, but the hood closes and it matches up good.

Does the height look okay? I like them high as possible. Keep in mind the trim ring is off.

I've been dying to hear the Cuda fire up so I turned the key and varoom it fired right up..... it sounds great. I'll post a sound link later. I built the motor almost a year ago and it sat in the body shop a long time waiting to start. I pulled the radiator to get the correct brackets put on for the shroud but I should be able to get all the lose ends and exhaust done this week. Here's a couple recent shots...

Yes sir, California.... I'm up in the Bay Area between SF and San Jose. I get down to the spring fling the last couple years. Maybe we can get the cars together sometime.

Sho-nuff, I'm hoping mine will be ready for Spring-fling April '08.  Keep those pics coming, especially when it comes out of the garage, can't wait to hear that Hemi of yours!!!
