Calipar leakingslightly

Just finished filling my brake system, bled all wheels and now notice from the front caliper i've got a slight amount of fluid seaping i'm guessing from the piston seal. Since these parts have been in the box in my basement for about 10 yrs  will they stop weaping once i put some miles on our should i rotate the pistons?  Anybody have this experience before? Ideas? .........thx....

Put the caliper in a clear bag and have someone push the brake pedal till the piston comes all the way out of the cavity.  Now unbolt the hose and take it to your workbench to inspect the bore and piston for pits. Small pits can be polished out with a scotchbright pad and brake fluid. Pistons and caliper rebuilding kits are available new from the auto parts store.

You should pop that piston before buying anything to see what you're dealing with because a seal kit is still cheaper than a rebuilt caliper.

PS. You can use air pressure to push you piston out but apply it slowly as it moves out. The fluid way is more simple but more messy.

If you decide to rebuild the caliper yourself the service manual gave me the trick to getting the
outer dust seal around the piston.....Air pressure blown thru the caliper is the way, balloons the seal as the piston is held against it & kinda like magic the piston is swallowed by the seal.
