It's not much to look at right now. Partially disassembled, behind a lot of junk. I'm still trying to sell the orange 71 so I can have some money and room to work on it. If I ever get it uncovered, I'll post more photos. It's killing me to see all the great cars on CC and not be able to work on mine. Just takes time and money!

The 71 is posted under Cars for sale if you know anybody that might be interested.

Thanks, Mike

I put an overhead console in my factory vinyl headliner car. Its fully functional and looks like it was built that way. I did have to cover it and found some material very close to original from a local source.

If you are going to attach the material the the headliner yourself, you sure want to use some good quality glue.

Found the company in SC that has the headliner for the SE.............

They will send you a sample of the material in the color you want out of their stock.     Hope this helps...David

Got my red material from Dante. I'm little bit disappointed. It does not look good IMO.

Man, i need a lense too!! I saw an NOS piece go for about $300 on eBay. but keep in mind, a 70,71 Chrysler Monaco has the same overhead lense. so, there is another out there somewhere. I dont think they are removeable from the housing. In another note, Im having trouble getting my overhead light to work.

There is a guy named Barnabas Kriss.  He made a bunch of overhead console lens's a while back.  I bought one off him for like $17.00.  If you email him, he may still have some.  aurum@axionet.com

I may have an extra overhead console lens and fixture assembly but I dont have the indicator lens thats at the fwd end of the console. Is that what you are looking for?

Barnabas only sells the warning light lens as far as I know.

Raptor, glad you were able to get one.
