Hey Dog I see it looks like you went with the ready to run setup from MSD fo rdist. How do you like it?
It cleans up the firewall (no ECU) I hav eseen where soem people have taken out ballast res. and others say it a must keep. Are these shots current and without bal.? Great job! Where are other shots of the car?

I am actually running a MSD 8546 Pro Billet Distributor for Mopar raised blocks with almost all FAST components for EFI.  I just haven't gotten around to mounting the XFI unit yet and have been focused on some of the plumbing and getting the A/C components in the car to see how much room is available under the dash.  If I can't secure it nicely under the dash, I will look at putting in a false floor under the passenger's foot area.  :dunno: I will have to work out the ventilation going that route.  Either way, there is a hole that will need to be cut in the firewall!  :faint:

I just wish I could get mine looking that good.  I hope I can start to restore it soon.  Not sure when because funds are low.

Watch the pinion angle with the keisler setup and the hemi. What motor mounts are you using? I ran into a problem with the 5 speed keisler and the schumacher mounts.

I am running the Schmacher mounts as well.  It was the only way I could get this motor in the car without going to a motor plate.  Did you shim the rear, or transmission to correct the issue?

You are the point now where you might be able to shim the trans mount. Hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like the motor is sitting a little low in the back. My problem was i could not shim the rear trans mount as the trans started hitting the floor before i could get the neccessary 1/2 inch shim in.

The keisler by itself is known to have problems, and sometimes so do the schumacher mounts...together they just compound the problem. I did have a hemi with the schumacher mounts and a 833 4 speed and that was fine. Only problem i had with that setup was the dipstick tube did not clear the mount, and had to be modified and the dipstick remarked...not a big deal.

BTW...engine/car looks GREAT!
