ssssssshhhhhh, the block is though and I can live with the intake because I have a 70 carb that can bolt right on. :2thumbs:
LOL your secret is safe with me  I love stashing parts without the wife knowing about it. In fact one of my  favorite hobbies is embezzling money on family vacations. When we go to Hawaii I can stash upwards of 500 bux towards my car, hows that for having your cake and eating it too?  :stirpot:

You know Clown, I am not sure as of yet why I wanted it.  But I can say I bought an 81 3/4 ton dodge truck today with no rust but has low oil pressure in the 318.  I actually was thinking on building a 340-6 along with the other 4 speed tropicalcats is holding for me, so if I get tired of the 440-6 I can instal the 340-6..

I just noticed in the reading that I may need some head bolts and stuff. Maybe you got some? I know I can go arp's and all, but not as of yet sure how far im going to go with this engine. It only has hyperutectic pistons, so it will be conservative for sure.

Thanks go-fish for the 340. It was a long tiring 14 hr drive, but well worth it. Thanks for the seats and pass side lower dash panel too. Hope you got your truck up and going. I will make a post for some 340 rods now. No biggie. Be safe over seas and as tall as you are.....duck
