71 challenger project
« on: September 04, 2007 - 05:37:50 AM »
It's up for sale,I would like to finish, but can't right now.I would prefer someone from the northeast to come and look at it and make sure it's what they want. But if you are interested?I will get pic's of whatever you want to see--This car has to go---soon.all body #s match-----have fender tag but no build sheet--b5 blue inside and out(but was putting a black gut together for it),318 ac auto car has 26 inch radiator opening(good big block candidate)it has a disc brake k-frame and a 323 sure grip 8 3/4 rear.I have most of the parts minus engine and trans-still needs a rear bumper and brackets and a rear valance.I have rebuilt about 85% of the inner cowl and the inner fenders. This is a project car but if it interests you?throw me a pm--The Clown

I have come to realize that my time worked on it is considered worthless(i'm sure most will work for 0$ an hour) and feel its time to get out the cutters if I want to get back any of my money.

Clown I PM'd you about some glass, but I imagine that you are very busy lately.  Given all that is going on.  I also would like to come down and pick up those retainers and rods if possible?

As far as yor projects the Blue car is nice, but in a disassembled state.  That must scare people.  I know that you don't want to put any more time/money into it but to get some of your labor back, you may have to.  Toss the interior in and some primer on the cowl and it may go faster.

Seems like a reasonable price to me. I will be sure to pass this along if anyone is looking.

Good Luck

Tom

Hopefully the cutters don't have to come out and play!

Your welcome to stop in anytime for those parts,I haven't been able to get up in the garage to see if I still have any extra glass. But I promise I will in the next day or two.Things have been a little crazy around here,I haven't worked on my cars in months now and really just need this stuff out of the way.As far as the 71 goes,I want the potential buyer to see what is there.

No worries Clown,

I know you got a ton going on at home.

My take on the glass is, I wont drive when it rains!  I wont be able to go to wally world either.

I got a few leads but still waiting for them to come back.

Take care.  I will try and PM you later this week about stopping by.

Tom
