last march i was headed to Albany to watch the Cornell Hockey team in the ECAC championships with a few friends. I was following one buddy who has a radar detector, so we were going about 85 - 90 in a 65 for 20 minets. I looked in my rearview and there were 4 cars following me (6 of us total). Suddenly my buddy hits the brakes and slows down, so do the rest of us. couple minets later a trooper comes up in the passing lane looking like hes gonna pass us all. He goes past me gets to the lead car and turns his lights on. I figured he was getting busted, as he pulls over the trooper slows down and points at me, so i pull over, and he did the same to all 6 of us. gave all 6 of us tickets for 86 in a 65. got mine reduced to at 70 in a 65 thankfully. The worst part was i missed the first period of the game.

One of my fav stories is I was cruvin with my friends on this back road that goes forever and it offers long straights and nice esses. There are 9 cars in our group.  We were about 30 seconds into our ride and this old lady in a buick pulls out infront of us. I was thinking this was going to suck seing that the speed limit is 40 and we are now doing 25. Finally the buick turns off and we all romp on it. If you were on the outside I am sure it would of sounded like nascar or something. Well my buddy in front was driving a 85 Chevy truck all jacked up loud as hell.. well I guess the two cops standing in the middle of the road with laser or radar heard us comming and thought he was making all the noise pulled him over so we all thought we were getting nailed. All of us pulled over I was 5 cars back and I was laughing my ass off because I watched the cops faces when they looked down the line of cars and were just shaking there heads. I saw them taking all the driver papers and stuff and when the got to my car one of em says wow is this a real RT? I said family owned. He said man thats sweet, I bet you wouldn't speed in this thing and risk damage to it right? Nope I said. Have a nice day he says. Everyone else gets a 125 dollar ticket.
Thats a good reason to have a Mopar when noone else does.

Well lets see here, only 18 and have 2 moving violations, 3 poiints on my lisence and a handful of parking tickets. Ill tell the stories
1: Ok i dropped off a movie at the local blockbuster, the lighting is terrible in the parking lot, so somhow i manage to back into a ford f 150. I talk to the guy i only broke his light so we agreed no insurance and i would just pay for the damages, a broken tail light. So im on my way down to a junkyard to get the tail light, already having a bad week, i went over this little bridge over a creek in a 45mph zone not too bad. Then about a 1/4 mile upi there is a  stop sign. I turn left and then i see a cop behind me, so he follows me for a little then turns on the lights. He comes up to the car and asked me if i knew what i did. Apparently i was doing 57 in  a 45. The cop even says to me I wasnt even going that fast, but still writes me up a ticker, $105 no points

2: I was driving home from a movie on a school night , around 10pm. My friend calls me up and says i forgot something, so we meet in this little shopping center, then i head out. There is a stoplight with a no turn on red sign, that i did not see. I turn on red, pulls me over i get 3 points and $105 fine. I am the main income of my local police department

Dumb parking ticket. I took the tranny out of the cuda to get rebuilt and we block it up and put it on the street bc my dad needed in the driveway. Well neighbors called us in and I got a whole $5 ticket for not having my car inspected, what a joke

peace

Well backing into the truck is your fault . . . but the others I would be PISSED!  Pickin' on us when they should be out catching the real criminals.   Had a seat belt check area today on my way to work . . . sneaky bastards.

I can appreciate the fact that being an officer is at times a risk of your own life, but with a racket like that what does that have to do with "protect and serve"?    Just come out and say it, I'm not an idiot - you want my money.

ya'no, theres a real sneakey way of gettin past the seatbelt checks, dont tell anybody i told ya this, but next time try wearing a seatbelt, it may feel a little weird, but the cops will never know what hit em...

I got pulled over in my Challenger while doing 35 in a 30.  Aparently, I was going through a "hospital zone", and did not notice the speed limit change.  I was pulled over a few blocks later, after the limit went back up.  I was a little upset.  The officer was actually pretty decent(!), and simply asked if  I knew why I was pulled over.  After a discussion about why I was pulled over, and a background check, he asked if he could look over my car.  Seems he had a Challenger back in the day, let me off with a verbal warning.

I was riding slingshot in this next story.  My friend was driving much too fast down a gravel road in his '72 Charger.  He just got his fresh 400" big block back in, and wanted to break it in "properly".  We were doing about 80 when we hit a small bridge.  This is where things get interesting.  There was enough time for the three of us to all look at each other, jaws dropped, before all four tires contacted the ground again.  Then all three of us smashed our heads on the roof.  This caused my friend driving the car to then realize that this was no longer a good idea.  This idea was enforced by the flashing red lights behind us.  The cop did the usual background check and came back asking "Just what was going on back there at the bridge?"  My friend then goes into this long shpeel about how his '72 Charger shoud have been used in the "Dukes of Hazzard" shows, and how Richard Petty felt the '72 was the best car he ever drove.  The cop (much to my suprise) actually listened to all of this.  He then started laughing, saying that "Large purple cars should not fly through the air, but it was still the funniest d**n thing I had ever seen!"  He gave my buddy a ticket for 10 over and told us to go home!

BTW I love this site!
