Tune the carb. Look at shooter size and pump cam. Also make sure your intake is sealing that base plate fully. I dont think I'd go that large in a DP anyway because tuning for low speed performance will be a PITA. Also chck the timing curve. 4speeds like a faster curve..not slower. They have an extra gear to pull thru, and they tend to rise in rpms faster than a similar auto car.
