Rear Brake Hose-1970 Challenger
« on: September 08, 2007 - 01:37:52 PM »
The parts store didn't have a number for a 70 so picked up a 71. Problem is the hose end at the axle distribution block bottoms in the center before the washer on the outside. I could add washers but these are brakes so no way. I read through other topics and cannot find any answer to a possible replacement. (Besides Year One-rather not wait that long). Anyone had luck finding this part lately?

Thanks,

Jon

Not really sure but the original sealed with the flair inside. The center contacts first and would need about 4 of the copper washers that come with the hose to seal the outside. The flair looks a little different too, I was thinking of using some blue dicome to see if it seats properly. Also the hose ID is smaller then the original.
