Carlisle again? Oh well, I guess I'll have to drive the 40 miles to get there. :-)
What's up with the t-shirt thing? Is that gonna happen or not? I like the window sign thing.
Any way we can identify ourselves as C/C.com people is good for me.

WOW Jim... that's awesome news!!!!
And a whole $.99 more then last year.. that's really going to bust the bank now...
Folks, if you are planning on joining up on the 2nd Annual Chicago-Carlisle cruise... PLEASE either email or PM me and let me know where you are located, and what you will be driving... both of these play into the scheduling as some of you may not want to travel at "higher" cruising speeds with your beautys!!
Last year, with the route we took, it was about 12 hours and exactly 750 mile from my driveway to my parking spot at the hotel.. now WSM said it's 8 miles closer, so that means 742 miles this year... I will have my toolbox with, but please throw in any parts that you may feel might break (belts, hoses, distributors, rotors, etc)... I would rather be ready for any sudden events that may rise, although nothing happened last year with the exception of WSM's Charger on the way to the show.. with more folks joining the cruise this year... I want to be ready for ANYTHING!
I do need a favor from a couple people... anyone that lives in either Indiana or Pennsylvania that will be joining us... I need you to send me a state map please!! I will gladly cut you a check for postage!!
This will help me measure out the exact distance and calculate the times better... I was only off by 50 miles last year just using an Atlas... soooooo... should be able to nail it this year!!
Jterp... hopefully you can join us this year!! Without all your mishapes from last year!!
And I plan on not forgetting anyone at the show this year... sorry about that again MEKrunner!!!!
Watch for details... oh, I should probably mention this... I did get my Carlisle 2003 pics online a LONGGGGGGG time ago...but forgot to get pages made for them... if you'd like to check out the directory's with the pics... here's the link... just think what we get to look forward to!!!!
http://geocities.com/lemonboy69
I actually shot 5 rolls... but only scanned 4 of them... the last roll is entirely of the Burnout Contest!!!
I hope to see some of you in it this year!! And.... this year, when I get my pics developed... I'm getting only CD's!! I'll be bringing all 5 rolls from this past year with on the trip for you guys to check out and remember... hehe!! ENJOY! And watch for updates!!

Thanks for reserving the block WSM! I called and claimed one of the rooms today. I figured even if the Chally doesn't get finished in time, we're going up to meet you guys anyway. Looking forward to a great time!

Carlisle is in Carlisle, Pennsylvania about 1/3 of the way into the state directly off of the I70 PA turnpike... it's about 12 hours running at about 70 with a few breaks from Chicago!!

AN AFTERTHOUGHT : When you send me the envelope for the window signs also include your site name, I'll see if I can include it on the individual signs.

MBH- Carlisle is just outside of Hershey, PA. Mopars and chocolate: how much better can it get?
LB- If you're a AAA member, your best bet is to get a Trip-Tik. Its more accurate then looking at most maps and the route is printed right on it.
I was curious as well- what did happen with the shirts?
And lastly, anyone heading in from NJ or the northeast in general that is forming a caravan?

Bowhunter,
If the others are willing, I'm sure you could ride in a different Mopar between stops all the way down and back. I know I'd like the company from Ohio down there.

moparbowhunter,
Just wanted to make sure you knew you had a ride. Too bad about work, I have a hard time using up my vacation, so Carlisle is always a welcome time off.
If you can swing it, come on along.
