There are two Comfort Inns in Mechanicsburg, I called both.........One priced their rooms at $86.99 and the other quoted to me over the phone at $120.00,..guess which one I blocked out the rooms? DTG, I hope you were able to get in the same motel, but when I called Friday to check I was told no more rooms could be blocked out. I DO know that any motel will always leave a few rooms available for "general public" reservation. The idea behind that policy is to try and cover any general traverlers through the area at any given time.

Jterp if you want to look into "club" parking we'd all appreciate it. Think about it, we'd all be together at the show grounds and wouldn't have to try and "chase" down each other to say Hi, etc. D*mn good idea! Can you say C-C party at Carlsile?

Email sent to Carlisle management. Can I get a head count so I know exactly what we are going to need? I need to know how many people will be there (how many total in your party?) and more importantly will you be bringing an old mopar ?? The more cars we have there the better chance we have of getting this setup.

Hey y'all,

Mike,
I'm glad travelocity worked for you too! Don't feel bad, I felt the same way when I read the posts.  That was the first thing to come to mind.  They usually have rooms set aside just for the travelocity folks.

Rev,
That sounds great! Was planning to leave on Thurs as well so I would have 2 full days at the show and go back on Sun.  Are y'all headed north by way of I-85?  If so I am 4 miles from exit 1 into SC.  Let me know.

WSM,
Yeah, got in at the same one as the block of rooms.  My room was $86.99 as well.  I didn't bother to call, just went straight to travelocity and did a search for hotels in carlisle.  It was about the 6th to 8th listing.  Give it a try!

Don't know if my car will be ready to go or not.  My luck, probably not :'(.  They have replaced the trunk panel but not much else yet.  Guess I will just drive the Firebird Conv.

Hey Keith.  You should think about joining the "Noreaster" caravan with MoparMatt.  He's coming from NJ, I think.  There are a few more folks from NJ on the board...maybe they'll end up joining the caravan also.

Parts coming every other day. A few good days in a row and the fuel system goes on. Then things will really get rolling  :)
