Got to see what she can do
« on: September 09, 2007 - 10:43:09 PM »
Finally got to see what my Cuda will run in the 1/4 @ Monster Mopar this weekend. It ran very consistant 11.34-11.37 all weekend. I dialed a 11.36 and ran a 11.35 on Sunday. Guess that is not too bad for a 3300 lbs all metal street car with full interior. Oh they also said something about a rollcage......I dont know I had my radio on. :grinyes:

Nice sleeper you got there.....Pretty fast for a street car. Did you run slicks & open headers or was it in street trim??

Just like on cruise night. ET Street tires and full exhaust. It was kinda cool listening to my radio going down the track. :ylsuper:

3300 lbs was that with you in it??? I thought BigBlock Cars were like 3500 without driver....
of course thats all original iron heads / parts... I weighed the iron 906's and edelbrocks and the edelbrocks were exactly 40 lbs lighter... then minus alum. radiator / water pump / pulleys / hood(fiberglass) and other misc. aluminum parts...

Hey StrOkEr,
Instead of racing the Cuda Guy, I think you should race Four40Cuda. He is ready right now to do it. Get out the video camera.... :picture: :picture:

My Cuda weighted 3490 w/o me and its all steel 340 auto 8 3/4 with a half tank of gas and no spare tire or jack.

Four40Cuda , I think the scales are off by quite a bit. you have a 440 with a dana and a 4speed? you have to be aleast 175 plus lbs more than a small block car. But that said that is a awesome run low 11.30's.

StroKer you have competition and  he's on a street tire, I'm impressed....
