Anybody run their breather to the air cleaner?
« on: September 10, 2007 - 09:46:40 AM »
I was wondering if running a hose from a valve cover breather to the air cleaner might evacuate the crankcase better than just a plain breather?  At WOT the PCV system doesn't do anything. Wasn't this the std set-up from the factory?

Yes I do and yes it was the standard set-up, at least with my car.

Some cars had one nipple, some had two and some had three.

Alan's has three because it sold new in CA, so it has the N95 emissions.

I have 3 too.  One from the drivers side cover to carb, and two from the passenger side.  One to the air cleaner, and another to the carb.  Why would there be one to the carb on each side?   :clueless:
