I just bought a pair of 440's. The first 440 is an H440 HP engine with 906 heads, it is complete except for intake and exhaust manifolds. THe other is a short block B440 that came out of a race boat and has pop up pistons (I think I am going to put my ported 906 heads on it). And I got a cast 440 crank and forged 440 crank, all for $1000. Both engines were running and have been in dry storage. I got them from a friend of mine who is selling them for his friends widow. Now that I have a couple more engines I need a couple of cars to put them in. The HP engine is getting a 6 pack and the early block is getting a cross ram.
