I was never happy with the way the tail light panel turned out after all my beating and banging (I don't want to call it "body work").

So we put on a new one.

I'm glad these guys are taking the time to do it right, but the anticipation is killing me.
Meanwhile I've been cleaning up the front end parts and treating them with RPM for when the time comes to roll it home.

Big fat thumbs up to Rick Kreuziger and Restorations by Rick for the job well done on my hood hinges.

I have to think the original rebuilt has got to better than a repop.

More progress from the body guys.

This step of the restoration has cost me way more than I hoped it would, but these guys are doing a great job.
No way I could have done this in my garage.

Ya, there's a lot of manual labour involved. Hours add up!
Starts looking like you are getting somewhere when it is one colour. Whether it's primer or paint, it starts to look like you can envisage the finish line.
Just went through this thread today from 1st to last page. Very similar to my experience. Including the the 2 year 'life gets in the way' break.

:2thumbs: Congrats on sticking with it. Looking good.
