Do you mean in the corners, eg 10:00 and 2:00 in the picture?

Bill

The channel where the dash meets the windshield should be painted black underneath the defroster vents  :2cents:

You can see what I mean in this picture:

A little more progress. I'm all over the place with the re-assembly. For now the grill is set aside. I've put the deck lid and rear bumper in place. Both will still need adjustment once I have all the parts I need.

I've managed to separate the tail lights without mangling them too badly. I'll clean them up and re-assemble them with new foam gaskets.

And I've started re-assembling the dash. Just need to get some texture paint to re-finish the other dash bezels.

And it's beginning to look like a 'cuda again. (notice that it says so on the tail panel?)

Got the hood bolted in with the scoops and badges. Notice the badge re-affirms that this is indeed a 'cuda and not only a money pit.

Also got the pedals and dash partially assembled. I'm hoping and can have my dash complete with a new pad in July.

You're going to install the dash pad to the frame BEFORE installing in the car...correct ?

Began cleaning up the dash harness and repaired a couple of bad connections.

Anyone know where's the best place to get this broken connection?

I would get a complete new harness. Will probably save you a lot of trouble in the future and is also saver!

I really just can't make myself spend $600 on a new dash harness. There's not that much wrong with this one.
I spent the whole day just tracing out circuits and ohming them out to check for continuity. The wire is still pliable and no bare or broken spots. I don't feel uncomfortable with this one. Just need another connection.
