A few years back I bought a couple of broken grills on ebay.

Hoping to get enough good parts to make one good grill.

I took some scrap pieces and added them to a jar of acetone. It melts and makes a glue.

Seems to make a good bond.

If I were using someone else's money for this build I'd consider buying a grill. If I can successfuly restore my grill then I can spend the $1000 on wheels, or engine parts.

I take a break every 4 weeks for 4 weeks. It's what I have to do to finance the restoration.
nutherwords...work...  :walkaway:
But I'm home now and have parts waiting to be installed.  :woohoo:

The channel where the dash meets the windshield should be painted black underneath the defroster vents  :2cents:

You can see what I mean in this picture:

I just went back through all my pictures. Can't find a real good picture, but from this one I believe mine was all blue.

My 74 Chal (original paint) is body color there also. Wish it was black and did not show the yellow. Your blue may not stand out in contrast as much.

Removing the warning labels one at a time.
Nature will take care of the rest.

My 70 Challenger is burn orange there too ( original colour) I should have painted it black when I changed the dash pad.

I suppose if you go with a black dash it should be painted black?
