My '72 B5 'cuda Project

I was never happy with the way the tail light panel turned out after all my beating and banging (I don't want to call it "body work").



So we put on a new one.







I'm glad these guys are taking the time to do it right, but the anticipation is killing me.
Meanwhile I've been cleaning up the front end parts and treating them with RPM for when the time comes to roll it home.

I have to think the original rebuilt has got to better than a repop.

Cars looking great. What kind of filler or sealer did you use on the roof. Mine had a vinyl top also alot of pits in the metal ,just want to see what you used thanks.

I'm trying to figure out what kind of filler is being used on the front valance....Looks like fiberglass

Ya, there's a lot of manual labour involved. Hours add up!
Starts looking like you are getting somewhere when it is one colour. Whether it's primer or paint, it starts to look like you can envisage the finish line.
Just went through this thread today from 1st to last page. Very similar to my experience. Including the the 2 year 'life gets in the way' break.
