Do you have any close-up pics?  I'm curious as to whether you have an assist spring on the mechanism?  I tried the Electric Life kit and was very disappointed.  Dropped like a rock and then struggled to raise.

We had the same experience as you...

That's why we had to come up with a solution as we sell big dollar cars, the windows need to actually work on them.

So unlike what's out there, these kits work very well - both up and down.

Man it looks like you got it done, I sure wish I had the coin to drop on your kit, I love power windows and was also let down so to speak, by the electric life kit.

Not sure of those b-body or GM switches.  Can you get the OEM switches to work?  If not, at least those Electric-Life lighted billet ones which more closely resemble e-body OEMs?

Bummer, I did not look close but sure enough it has the GM style rocker switches. If I were going to spend big coin I would want the OEM style rocker switches.

There are no sources for Mopar style switches, so we are using the GM style....

How about we leverage ELectric-Life's?



Or...give us a choice between a wiring harness that leverages the Electric-life's, or leverages the OEM switches that we find on e-bay all the time.  I.e. it'd have the little plastic things that hook up to the OEMs:



Either option is better than using those GM switches (unless you have an early b-body).

these are the switches I chose with my electric life kit and although they are nice I would rather have the GM style rockers, the rocker faces seem to be made of polished aluminum and they scratch and get hazy really fast. If I had it to do over I would not have chosen them in a cost vs. performance standpoint.

YOu'd rather have GM switches that look TOTALLY out of place than for some hazing on the Electric-lifes?

Uh, those rocker switches dont exactly look stock either. If it is not OEM its going to look out of place no matter what kind of switch, I was just trying to give a heads up to anyone contemplating getting that switch kit.

I'm thinking if a gm looking switch fits in there surely a Mopar switch will. Are they not the same pin configuration?
