Finally in a garage!  I took the opportunity to lower the car 1" all around,mayby alittle more in the front. you really gotta' watch the bumps but the 17's with good rubber really help the corners.It's getting closer to 'the vision".Now I'm onto the brakes.4 wheel discs...,Looking at Wilwood I drive alot,and pretty hard.Lot's of mountain cruises.Any other recomendations? Also looking into better shocks...the KYB's are outdated...mayby Eddys? anyone run 'em?  sorry for the big pics...new camera,computer illiterate.

Wow that looks low, very nice, but low...

Any issue with front tire rub?  Must handle great!    What size torsion bars are you using?

You might have to add those scoops on the front fenders like the Superbirds!

he has a couple disc setups. I know he has a nice 13" cobra front kit, he has a rear cobra kit in the works.

I had the ride hight off alittle the first time around,got alittle rub on one side.Only sometimes.When I got them even it got much better,nothing so far. 1" T bars. The thing corners pretty darn good...I'm suprized actually.My grin gets bigger every day that's for sure.The roads out here are crazy to drive on. I'm working on a video for youse people.I like to share such a passion.And with scenery like out here ,it all comes together for a fantastic driving expierience.I can't wait for the brakes   I'll check out those Cobra's some more,Thanks everyone...

I love those rims , they look very much like th e original T/A series rims
I would skip willwood , SSBC are much easier to assemble

I still got the ones you sent me Travis72. That is my screensaver    Everybody asks about it....looks evil.    If I'm not drivn' it or fixn' it...I'm staring at it   I love the wheels! I'm still gonna' dye the centers to a light grey tone.  Starting to plan the 340 build.,Lookn' for brakes...       Unfortunatley I'm infected with Motorcross now too Lookn' for a CRF 450

I love the ride height of the one in the photo above. I want to lower mine too. Am a bit of a newbie to the lowering thing. I understand the torsion bars up front can be adjusted for the front but must be followed up with realignment.  Is that the best way to do it? Howz about the rears? Any idea what size wheels and tirez are on that car in the photo?

The pic is a photoshop. The wheels are Vintage wheel works V48's  They come up to 17"  18" sometime...?   The car is 2" off the ground.With rubber band tires.You'd hit something for sure if you drove alot.I will change rear tire size in spring.   Lowering the front is easy.I'm a newbie too. Jack it up,back off the adjustment bolts in the LCA's.Measure ride height before/after to get it right.Watch for tire rub. The stiff shocks help alot,but she rides like a stagecoach.

front is done with torsion bar adjustments. On the rear I could usuually get away with flipping the front shackle upside down to lower it an inch or so. You can always use lowering blocks, but I prefer the flipped shackle for a nomod look and lowest cost possible. When flipping the shackle you have to oblong the holes out with a rattail file

Will be checking into that soon. Am either going with 17" or 18" Coys or TT II's and would like the fender opening just above the top of the rim. I dont want to sacrifice ride quality though and want to run 45 and 75 height tires.
