340 more vintage photos of SIAC meets, 1979-1984

Hey gang,
Brian Burk, one of our members here let me borrow three photo albums he had to scan for the HH site. There are 340 vintage photos from SIAC meets and photos that other SIAC members sent to him as well.

SIAC for those that do not know, stands for Special Interest Auto Club, it was the first ever club for AAR and T/A owners. As the club grew they opened up membership to other cars / owners.

If you were a SIAC member, you may see a photo of your car here, or possibly someone you know.

Brian went "feet wet" today, he re-deployed overseas for what will hopefully be a short stay.

Thanks guys. I LOVE seeing stuff like this, I knew that everyone else would too.

When they came in the mail I sat in the truck and looked at all of them right at the post office. I recognize a few of the cars, I was close to tears. Some of the cars are "old friends" in a way. If anyone has any old photo albums with photos like these, please let me know. I would love to scan them for you and host them or host your scans.

I joined SIAC in 81 when I bought my 340. But I never did get very involved in it. Wish I still had the membership diploma they sent you when you joined.

That just makes me want to dig out my old photos - I took a bunch of photos at car shows, cruizes and drag strips all over SoCal from about 1976 up until the late 80's.  I was an amatuer photographer and used to run off roll after roll of 35mm.  I need to find the time to scan them in......
