Dont pry on it. At just about any parts store in the 3.95 sale bin, you will see a small 2 slot puller. It is just big enough to fit in the tube crush can. Take the nut off with a wratchet and extention. Some nuts are like 3/4 and some like 7/8 I think. This is the difference in power and manual shafts. Unscrew the nut, then use the puller. After this pops off and it will give up rather easy, you will notice it has a spot on the splines where it goes on and off in one position only. So your wheel will be put back on just as it came off. It will be obvious what size screw driver you need next. But... Some of the screws you remove in different steps will be different sizes, so keep the items you pull off in it's own group with those particular screws. Once you pulled the turn sig switch, the big nut that pulled the can off, has a snap ring on that shaft holding the steering column bearing down. An o ring pick and a small tip screw driver will get it off with patience. The steps Im telling you to do will be obvious even if I am not being clear enough for you. The column bowl screws will be off too, now you can get to what you need to. But you will have a buzzer switch in there and look at the way it goes on. It can be a pita for some. All in all the job is easy and with the right basic tools will take 1.5 hrs for a novice to pull replace the switch and crank it up.
