Can you add a gif file to your signature area?

I see some people have pics of their cars in their signature area, I was wondering if it is possible to put a small animated gif file in your signature area. I doesn't fit correctly in the picture/avatar area.

Yes it will work 100%. I'd host it elsewhere like Imageshack as some .gif files can be large.
It just saves this sites bandwidth space is all.

I put it on IMAGESHACK, and it works fine there. If I put it in my avatar area, it works fine there too. But when I put it in the signature area, it doesn't move, and a black band, with the file size, shows up underneath.

What the frell am I doing wrong?

werks for me, although a few .gif files I've tried to link to here have not worked. but most do.

Got it working. Switched from Imageshack to Photobucket, and it works fine.

Nice touch jeryst....how did you creat the gif to make that happen?

I used an animation program to create a rotating rectangle. Then I used a screen capture program to capture the cc-com banner, which I then pasted onto the rectangle. The animation program creates the gif file. I used one that we have at work, but there are a lot of free ones available.
