THis is the drivers side outer lower a piller piece.Is anyone parting out a rusty ol barracuda i can get this piece from?I dont trust my bodyguy to get it right even though he a top notch painter.

Yours looks better than what we found on my Challenger!  Coincidently he was just working on this area this week, he wants to strengthen everything up structurally before it goes to the media blaster.
As you can see he is fabricating up the metal, finding a piece of metal from that area in good shape will be a chore!

I think your right, there should be another mopar product out there with the same roof line. Or even just really close.

There was an article in the October Mopar Muscle magazine that covers a similar situation, except they were doing the rear window. They got the pieces from Year-One. They have a few different ones for the rear window, but some of the pieces look like they could be modified a little to fit. I'll try to post a link. Don't know if it will take you there. It's in their body section under floor pans and trunks.

Chances are, that unless the car was completely destroyed, they would rather restore it instead of piece it out.

I think you should patch it. If you get a donor piece, your guy still has to cut out the old and weld in the new. I would fabricate a patch and weld it in.

Well i found the piece emailing a wrecking yard,guess i'll go that way instead of having my painter fill it in.I just dont like that idea.Its 125 plus shipping

I made my own piece and butt welded it. You can't even tell that it was redone.  Make a template out of cardboard for the piece you need then cut out a piece of heavy duty metal to match it, 18 guage will work. Then weld it in and lead it smooth.  Sorry I don' t have a pic of it i can post on here.

  It will be easier and cheaper to repair yours than to replace it.
